Credit Card Surcharges Starting January 1, 2019, Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) will implement a credit card surcharge of 3%. This surcharge is sim- ply to help ApHC recoup merchant services charges the Club incurs when credit cards are used in our course of business. Regional Clubs Regional Club Membership Drive Contest! Grow your membership and get rewards! Two ApHC chartered Regional Clubs can win $200 in Gift Certificates thanks to our Sponsors Tioga Territory and Elite Custom Saddles. To participate in the contest you must follow these steps: 1. Notify the ApHC office of your intent to participate by emailing or calling (208) 882-5578 ext. 274 on or before December 17, 2018. (Regional Club participants must have been chartered before January 1, 2018) 2. Verify that the ApHC office has your complete 2018 mem- bership list on record on or before December 17, 2018. 3. Grow your regional club membership list! 4. Submit your 2019 membership list to the ApHC office by June 1, 2019. Highlight new members. Prizes will be awarded to: – The Regional Club with the highest number increase in membership from 2018 -2019 – The Regional Club with the highest percentage increase in membership from 2018-2019 Now accepting Exemplary Regional Club submissions The ApHC is encouraging all regional clubs to get involved and submit a scrapbook detailing the club's activities during 2018 for a chance to win up to $500! The Exemplary Regional Club winner will be recognized in Appaloosa Journal, receive complimentary booth space at the National or World shows, be recognized at the annual award banquet and receive a perpetual trophy for one year! Performance Judge Applicants The following individuals have applied for acceptance as ApHC-approved judges. Any ApHC member who wishes to com- ment on any of the applicants may write the ApHC Judges De- partment at 2720 W. Pullman Road, Moscow, ID 83843. Only written and signed comments will be reviewed. Xenia, Ohio Reminders for Show Secretaries – RULE 605 H.: Show management must collect national point fees as follows and forward to the ApHC along with the show results in order to have results processed by the ApHC. Failure to submit point fees at the time results are submitted will result in points being held from that show until all fees are received. 1. At multi-judge shows (two or more judges), show management shall collect $2 per entry per judge in nationally pointed open classes and $1 per entry per judge in nationally pointed youth and non-pro classes. 2. At single-judge shows, show management shall col- lect $5 per horse in nationally pointed open, non-pro and youth divisions (once per horse regardless of the number of divisions in which the horse is shown). – Show results received by email must be TXT format produced from an ApHC accepted result program (such as FUNNWARE Horse Shows for Windows) or a fine will be assessed to the show secretary/management and/or regional club. – Fines in the amount of $25.00 per judge will be assessed to show managements when errors are found in results and if judges cards or results sheets are received out of ApHC class order as result preparation instructions dictate.
