After being shown until he was four Kelo found himself passed around and nearly starved to death. He was discovered, purchased and nursed back to health. This year he is back in shape and showing its never to late to chase a dream! He is currently Top Five in the nation in both Non-Pro and Open Hunter in Hand and leading his territory in Aged Stal- lions. We hope to get him to the World Show to prove that even an underdog can have his day! ~ Katie Prather Sam at Expo S am the Appaloosa made a terrific impression at the Roy- al Manitoba Winter Fair in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. Owned by Jocelyn Kish and Greg Harp of Top Spot Appaloosas, he represented the breed for six days in presentations and on display, touching on average 650 per day (almost 4,000 total). There were reports of people coming back a few times a day just to pet Sam. He's doing his part to help make sure the next 80 years of the ApHC are great ones!
