For information, contact ICAA Secretary: ICAA 4610 New Mexico 206 Milnesand, New Mexico 88125 (575) 607-9737 SPECIALTY: The ICAA is a registry dedicated to building and promoting a Purebred Appaloosa Breed using the recognized method of breeding only Appaloosa x Appaloosa for 8 generations. Currently the Purebred Program within ICAA is at the 7-generation level and seeks and welcomes Members with Appaloosa Horses that can contribute to the goal of preserving the blood and characteristics of the Appaloosa. ICAA accepts into their Regular Registry most Appaloosas with registered Appaloosa parents and has intermediate categories that allow breeders and buyers to breed their favorite bloodlines forward toward their chosen goals. Opportunities are offered for ICAA registered horses to earn points in local breed and open shows, trail and distance programs, and awards are given for production achievement. There is no other registry out there like ICAA. Check out our website, ICAA membership fees and registration costs are very reasonable; ApHC and ICAA dual registration will only add to the value of your special Appaloosa.
