AYA THE BEAT 25 H i everybody! I am Sierra Kane, 2018 AYA Vice President. On the weekend of October 6-7 at the GSAA Fall Folly directors Elizabeth Horn, Alexis Grogan, Casey John- son, and I hosted a showman- ship sweepstakes. All ages could participate, the fee to enter was 10 dol- lars. First, second and third place received cash prizes and all the proceeds went to the AYA. We had 14 entries bringing in about $140. Our winners were: first place Alicia Fleming and Snoozin, second place Gracie Ackerson and Hunting In Seattle, and third place Colleen Hoover and One Remarkable Chip. We would like to thank our winner, Alicia Fleming, for do- nating her prize money back; the GSAA for donating$200 towards our fundraiser; our parents; Dwight Johnson, Tina Kane, Wendy Grogan and Jen- nifer Horn for donating the prize money; and we would T he Appaloosa Youth Foundation (AYF) awards scholar- ships on an annual basis.
